What is myofascial release?

Myofascial release is a simple yet powerful practice that uses tools like massage balls to release tension in the fascia — the connective tissue that wraps around muscles, bones, and organs. Working with fascia helps hydrate the tissues, improve mobility, and ease chronic tightness in the body.

Do I need prior knowledge of fascia or anatomy?

Not at all. The training will cover fascia and myofascial meridians in a way that is practical and easy to understand.

Why combine myofascial release with yin and yang yoga?

MFR prepares the body by softening restrictions and improving circulation. When combined with yin and yang practices, it creates a balanced approach: yin allows for deep release and stillness, while yang builds strength and stability. Together, they help students experience greater freedom and resilience in their bodies.

How will this training help me financially as a yoga teacher?

Is this training suitable for new yoga teachers?

Do you offer payment plans?

Do I need to be a yoga teacher to join this training?

No, you definitely don’t have to be.

Over the years, we’ve had lots of yogis including fitness instructors and pilates instructors join us, who simply wanted to teach yoga to their own communities.

Just let us know when you fill out your application form. (FYI – there’s a box at the end of the form, where you can tell us). Then, we can tailor our teachings to your needs.

Is your training Yoga Alliance accredited?

Yes, our training is accredited as 30 hours of Yoga Alliance Continuing Education – if you already have a 200hr YTT.

Also, if you’d like to become a 200hr Yoga Alliance certified, complete a total of 200 hours with us and you’ll be able to register with Yoga Alliance.

Do I receive a certificate upon completion?

Yes, you’ll receive a Myofascial Release and Yin Yang Yoga certificate recognised by Yoga Alliance as 30 hours continuing education.
