One-to-one yoga sessions:

If you feel stressed out or anxious about joining a group yoga session, are recovering from an injury or simply want to enjoy your own space/practice with a loved one in a private setting: 1-to-1 yoga sessions may be just what you need.

In your first session, I ask you:

  • what you’d like to work on
  • about your short-term goal(s)
  • how you’d like to feel after your session

Your first session is a little longer
Just so I can understand what you’re looking for and so we can get to know each other.

In your following sessions
I check-in with you again, then I tailor each session to your needs, so you get the benefits and results you’re seeking.

Private yoga sessions can take place in a yoga studio, online via GoogleMeet or I can meet you at your home if you live in central Auckland.

Yoga Teacher mentoring

6 month program

If you’re right at the start of your yoga teaching journey, I am an experienced guide who can support you to teach with confidence. I help you refine your yoga teaching skills, so you feel fully embodied and ready to teach.

In our first session, we work out:

  • the style(s) you feel most comfortable teaching
  • the style(s) you intend to teach
  • your teaching strengths
  • where you want to improve

Over the 6-month period in 6 sessions, I support you to

  • find the words or language of yoga teaching
  • hold space for yourself and your students
  • creatively sequence and theme your classes
  • support your yogis using props
  • understand the business side of yoga
  • structure your own workshops
  • teach private sessions
  • promote your business

Private sessions with Fiona are a great compliment to my in-studio practice. Learning the correct alignment for poses hasn’t been something that’s come easily to me, but Fiona has been incredibly patient and I now feel very confident in the classes I go to. I’ve also really appreciated learning modifications for poses that suit my individual body structure and the various injuries I have. Being able to ask questions that can’t be covered in a class setting has also been really invaluable, and Fiona’s wealth of knowledge really shines through when answering these.
