Vitality: A Yin Yoga Journey with the Water Element
When: Fri 5th June, 6:30 – 8:30pm
Where: Hum Yoga, Grey Lynn
Investment: $45
As the seasons shift and nature begins to slow down, winter invites us to do the same—to rest, restore, and reconnect with our inner reserves.
Join Fiona for a deeply nourishing 2-hour Turn Yinward Yoga workshop inspired by the Water Element and the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
In TCM, Water is the element of winter—connected to the kidneys and bladder, our vital energy reserves, and our ability to cultivate deep rest, resilience, and inner strength. This workshop is designed to help you slow down, release tension, and support your wellbeing during the cooler months.
Through long-held, floor-based postures and moments of stillness, we’ll embody the essence of Water: softness, introspection, and flow. You’ll also learn simple TCM practices and seasonal wellness insights to support balance during the cooler months—both on and off the mat.
Perfect for anyone seeking stress relief, deep relaxation, improved flexibility, emotional balance, and a deeper understanding of the body’s energetic pathways.
Suitable for all levels, including beginners.
